Nano begins her first day at high school, but becomes paranoid about hiding the fact that she's a robot, though everyone else pretty much figures it out upon seeing her. A boy named Makoto Sakurai decides to join the go-soccer club, revealing to the club's president, Kenzaburö Daiku, about what one actually entails. Later, Mio gets into a heated argument with Yüko after she mishears her request for lunch.
